If you’re a piano teacher, I’d also highly recommend keeping hand sanitiser near the piano, and before and after all lessons both yourself and the student sanitise their hands! Wipe the keys down with the damp cloth, but dry it directly afterward with a dry cloth to prevent any damage. Ring out the cloth so it is not dripping. I’d recommend placing some disinfectant in a bit of water – then soak your tea towel/ towel you’re using for cleaning. If you have an older piano with celluloid white keys, then the black keys are also topped with the French polish. Older pianos with ivory whites normally have french polished black keys and I think that the harsh alcohol disinfectant wipes will eventually damage that polish.

High gloss french polish and Spirit lacquer finish If you use the Brillianize on this finish it will go shinny as Brillianize fills very fine scratches.
